Spanish Veni, veni Emmanuel?
  • Does anyone know of an open source for a Spanish version of Veni, veni Emmanuel?
  • I don't know about open source, but I think I saw one in the St. Michael Hymnal.

There's one in the st Michael and one in the flora y canto.
I don't know if the text is copyright.
  • Late planning again. I'd like one within the next 15 minutes, before rehearsal. I know, I should get equal demerit points for procrastinating and demanding. :)

I think there's one in GIA's new bilingual hymnal, Oramus Cantando.

The one in Oramos Cantando. is copyright 1964 (vv1,4,5) 1962 (vv2,7) and 2012 (vv3,6) but very, very close to the version in Cantos del pueblo de Dios (WLP 2001) credited to "tr. al esp. anon." without a copyright notice (vv 1,4,5,6 only).

Flor y canto has one by various hands (copyright 2000) that doesn't try at all hard to rhyme or fit a consistent metre. Was that fast enough? (Chonak, how do I get adobe orange? ;-)
