Bishop Alexander Sample is now Archbishop of Portland
We had a Pontifical EF Mass at my parish a few months ago and Bishop Sample was the celebrant. He has a very nice singing voice. His Marquette seminarians are happy for him but sad too that they are losing such a supportive bishop.

I agree with Kathy and Ben, you have to get away from the musical part of the liturgy and just be a part of the congregation.

Sequences suppressed by the Council of Trent
A number of the medieval music singing groups like Anonymous 4 may have recorded some of these sequences, I know I have recorded examples of some of the troped kyries. I will look this morning to see if I can find some of the sequences.

15 year old pipe organ plays!!
Musicman what a great organ and the church is beautiful! It reminds me a little of the Cathedral in New Orleans with those galleries. What a shock for the congregation but a great shock, as an old lady in the pews I would be crying my eyes out.

Ah Charles, EF people do have rhythm but it tends to be driven by the text not the composer. I like ol' Bernstein's Mass too, but would never want it as part of the liturgy.
