It looks like the John Carroll Gloria would not be too bad without the refrains. I still think there are better options out there.

NYC area Assumption Mass?
St. Pat's vigil mass last Sunday had decent music. Only 1-2 verses of each hymn. Proulx/O'Connor Missa Simplex. Short mass. Plus the cathedral is under construction. Probably not what you are looking for but it is an option.

It is not Stuempfle, but could someone explain the changes in text to Moore's Taste and See, removing any reference to the term "he" or "him" referring to the Lord? OCP seems to be the only one with the original text.

Ride On, Ride On in Majesty (Winchester New) is a solid Palm Sunday hymn. I don't know if it fits in with offertory or not.

That is a good question Charles. I wish I had the proper background to answer it. The version I am referring to is the one commonly found in GIA hymnals. But I imagine you are right saying there is no rock solid single version of the tune.

Choral Music in Program for Congregation
Somewhat on topic, I cannot stand when PIPs sing with the cantor when he/she intones the Psalm or the Alleluia. Kind of like singing a choral piece with the choir.

Query re illicit sound recordings during Mass
A smart priest will use the sound of coughing for their ringtone. Or crying children (which for some odd reason seem more prevalent when guitars are present... maybe that's just me... or maybe it actually is me) I am in agreement that record…
