My Ave Maria was performed at St Peter's in Rome by this group on March 15. The music has been recently published by World Library. The published arrangement is for SATB and cello. I made the arrangement for English Horn on this video for the group to take on their Italy tour in March.

I wrote this in memory of a choir member and friend, Priscilla, who died from cancer. If the piece seems somber in the beginning it is in reflection of the sorrow of her death. The tranquility of the ending represents hope.

Very compelling setting, particularly from the perspective of petitional prayer, Tom. Was that what I was hearing in the repetitions of the phrases?
And regarding the final cadence, was that a major seventh prepared for the tenors? Wow, I didn't hear that coming, and it was tranquil hope. sDg.
