    This will be wonderful! The excellent music program and glorious architecture at St. Francis de Sales Oratory should not be missed, either.

    Just a bump up... get your registration in by March 1st to get early bird tuition rates. If you are planning to apply for a scholarship, please get your application and recommendations to me as soon as possible.

    I highly recommend visiting the Abbey—the acoustics are gorgeous, the organ is a delight to play, and the liturgies are well executed.

    Does anybody stay extra time after the colloquium ends? If so, do they change location or stay in the same accomodation?

    Usually people can stay in the hotel before and after.

    I believe the hotel will honor the rates for a few days after the event... for Saturday evening for sure... possibly beyond that.

    Janet, could you tell me if there is a policy at the colloquium regarding bringing an infant? I was surprised to hear from someone recently that they went in recent years to the colloquium and just brought their nursing infant along to the rehearsals.
    I never considered that possibility, because I never would've thought it was allowed at such an event. Is there any set-in-stone policies on this?

    There was an infant last year. No problem.

    Kids of all ages are wonderful to have at the Colloquium, and they see what they are missing. Just as with adults, describing how the Mass should be celebrated does not to justice to the reality of that first Solemn High Mass.
