Does anyone know of a solidly Catholic University in the north east which has a Music Education program? The sticky point is that the student searching hopes to be a French horn player. Thx!

The Cardinal Newman Society provides a roster of generally solid Catholic institutions:

Of these, a few are in the northeast; a few have music ed majors; probably Catholic U in Washington is the closest to what you're asking for.

You might find it worthwhile to look for alternatives, such as non-Catholic schools with good music programs. Boston University (no religious affiliation, but with Methodist roots) has B.Music programs, including music ed, and has an excellent Catholic chaplaincy.
