Music Director (Organ, Choir, Cantor): St Paul’s Catholic Church, Lighthouse Point, FL (East Sample Rd) is currently accepting candidates for our Music Director position. The successful candidate will be a highly qualified professional with thorough knowledge of Roman Catholic liturgy and classical 15th/20th century choral and organ literature. The Music Director will work with our pastor in music selection; and be responsible for direction and recruitment of additional members for a well-trained adult choir desirous of growth and knowledge of the great sacred works of the Church. Re-formation of a junior choir is sought to inculcate a love of fine music in our youth. Ability as a cantor is beneficial to support our one professional cantor. Our organ is a Roger Colby 14 rank installed 1992, digitally enhanced to 59 ranks in 1995.

Provide our music program for weekend Masses currently: Sat. 4:30pm, Sun.7:30, 9:00 & the 11:30AM choir Mass, plus at least 1 weekly evening choir rehearsal to be scheduled. Weddings & funerals as requested for additional compensation.
