Newly Set Versions of the Benedictus and Magnificat

    Hi all,

    I am looking for newly set versions of the Benedictus in Tones 2 and 8, and the Magnificat in Tones 2 and 6. I know the old Liber Usualis has been copied and pdf'd, but the typeface is not really suitable for printing. Any thoughts? Thanks-

    In English or Latin? How soon do you need it? I could typeset them for you, but I'm in the middle of preparing to move this week. Do you just want it to have, or for a program? What are the specs? Page size, etc.?

    You can also try it yourself. Go to http://gabc.romanliturgy.org/psalmtone.htm to get gabc code for the Benedictus or Magificat to the required (solemn) tones.
    Copy the gabc code and go to http://illuminarepublications.com/gregorio/ Paste the code into the editor from the (c4) mark and remove the line 'centering-scheme: english;'. Select the required settings for output and click 'Gregorio PDF'. There you are!

    smvanrode, I have always got an error from the Psalm Tone generator every time I tried to Generate PDF, with just the intonation in GABC form and the rest as text with italics and emboldened letters etc. - Do you know why this is?

    Jamie, you probably should ask Benjamin Bloomfield, who put the psalm tone generator together. He's also active on the forum, so maybe he chimes in. Or you could drop him a note (bbloomf).

    For some reason I can't get In Exitu Israel (Tonus Peregrinus) to convert to PDF. I haven't changed anything in the code that the website provides. Any thoughts?

    Pss. 109-112 and the Magnificat exported normally.
