The Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament is hiring SATB choral section leaders. Staff singers will support the parish choir on Sundays (9:45 rehearsal and 11 AM Mass) and serve as the principal cantors of the church. The staff singers will have first right of refusal for the significant number of weddings and funerals at the Cathedral.

The Cathedral music program, co-directed by Stephanie Nofar-Kelly and Joe Balistreri, includes Gregorian chant, classical polyphony, standard Catholic hymnody and psalmody, and music from the African-American tradition.

Candidates should be fluent sight-singers, flexible in vocal styles, punctual, and professional. Familiarity with Catholic liturgy and Gregorian chant are highly valued.
