Will you please pray for my grandfather?

My grandfather is 85 and his lungs are failing. He is expected to live only a few more days. He is not a Catholic, but I am going to pray for his soul like crazy anyway. If any members of the forum would be willing to offer a few prayers for Russell this week, I would sincerely appreciate it.

Thanks for listening, everyone. Tough day.

  • Thanks. Got it. Lots of prayer.
God strengthen you during this time.
Our family lost our dear matriarch, my Grandmother Jane, last August. 94 years wasn't enough. How I miss her.

    Update:

He had a pretty good day in the hospital yesterday. Went home today. They are treating it as a hospice case, and he is glad to be back home.

We're not expecting more than a week or two, but it would be a great miracle if he can make it to my brother's wedding in August. We are tremendously grateful for the efforts of the American Red Cross, who are trying to arrange a flight home for my brother, who is serving in the Persian Gulf right now.

Lots of emotions. Thank you for your prayers, CMAA.
