    We are pleased to announce that St. Hugo of the Hills Parish, Bloomfield Hills, MI has signed a contract with Patrick J. Murphy and Associates of Stowe, PA to rebuild the Casavant organ, Op. 1506 in the Stone Chapel. This work will be done in 2014.     It is truly a splendid chapel. We are so excited that we will finally have an instrument that is much more flexible to meet the needs of the parish. We have so many weddings and funerals in that space, plus, we would like to do more with sacred music concerts and organ recitals, as well as offering occasional choral vespers. The chapel seats about 250, which is ideal.

    There's a crypt in the basement, is there not? Are there still spots available there or is it full? Not that I'm looking - just curious.

    There is a crypt and there are still spots available for members of the MacManus family (they gave the land and built the Stone Chapel.)
