Help Scanning Antique Rare Books

I have access to some antique rare books, many of which are in pretty rough shape.
Does anyone have any tips on scanning? -
Use an overhead scanner, even if you have to borrow/rent time on one. You do NOT want to be flipping crumbly books on a flatbed, and pressing them down to get straight images.Thanked by 1CHGiffen
