    QUALIFICATIONS:
    An ability to represent the diocesan Bishop
    A Masters in Liturgy or a related field
    A minimum of 5 years of experience in liturgical theology and liturgical ministry
    An ability and desire to work in a team environment
    An ability to collaborate with clergy and lay leaders in the areas of liturgy and ritual for people of different ages, backgrounds and cultures

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    Oversees the Worship resource area of the Office for Parish Life.
    Works to ensure that the pastoral letter Wounded and Loved, Regathering the Scattered and other initiatives from the Bishop are understood and implemented as appropriate.
    Provides advice, as needed, to the Bishop on all matters pertaining to liturgy and worship in the Diocese.
    Reviews and responds, as needed, to inquires made to the Diocese on matters concerning liturgy and worship.
    Works with the Master of Ceremonies for the Diocesan Bishop to ensure quality liturgical experiences.
    Is available, as needed, to provide assistance and support to the Master of Ceremonies for the Diocesan Bishop in the preparation of Pontifical liturgies at Cathedral of St. Peter as well as Pontifical liturgies being celebrated outside of the Cathedral of St. Peter.
    Assists the Bishop, as needed, in studying proposals pertaining to liturgy and worship of the national/regional Bishops’ conference.
    Prepares, as directed, diocesan guidelines and resource material relative to liturgy and worship.
    Offers appropriate liturgy formation for all priests, deacons, musicians and all liturgical ministers, including certification for all parish liturgy directors.
    Coordinates the efforts of the Diocesan Liturgical Commission, ensuring its formation and its ability to provide advice and support to the Bishop and Diocese on matters pertaining to liturgy and worship.
    Collaborates with the Catholic Schools Office in matters of school liturgies and prayer experiences.
    Serves as a member of the Regional Service Team with priority focus in one region and as a resource to all regions in the area of worship.
    Teaches classes as needed for certification and enrichment.
    Directs a “Pastoral Liturgy Program” in the Diocese especially for the formation of Parish Liturgy Directors.
    Serves as the Director of Liturgical Formation for the Permanent Diaconate Formation Program.
    Offers help enhancing parish partnerships.
