Gregorio/GABC Question

Just a quick question on GABC specifics.

I'm working transcribing some GABC, and when I got to this, I wasn't sure what to do.

In the refrain, the ictus marked with a red arrow is above the note. Does anyone know how to do this correctly in GABC? I could not figure this out.

This is a good question for the gregorio-users mailing list at gna.org, if you haven't posed it there yet.

    Solution:
Open the .tex of your .gabc

    Find the line :

    \grevepisemus{f}{17}%

'f' is the note with the episema
change 'f' for a note 4 tones higher 'j' in this case.
The episema should now be above the note.
Of course, if you re-compile the .gabc you'll have to repeat this.

What if I'm just using GABC, not tex? Specifically, I'm using Richard Chonak's web interface.

A user asked on the gregorio-users mailing list on 8/12/2011 whether there is a way, using gabc, to position the ictus/vertical episema above a note rather than below it. His question wasn't answered, alas.

It sounds like this would be a good proposal for a feature enhancement!
