Downtown parish (800 families), staffed by Dominicans, seeks a full time, salaried (exempt) Music Director. Duties include, but are not limited to: organ accompaniment for four English Masses and one Extraordinary Form Mass weekly; direction of adult choirs; development of children’s choir; oversight, training and scheduling of cantors; planning music for all liturgies, including weddings and funerals. Successful candidate will have a degree in organ or choral conducting, familiarity with Roman liturgy, proficiency on the organ, strong interpersonal skills. Salary DOE; benefits package.
