Periodical Subscription question

    Does anyone subscribe to a periodical or disposable missal which they would recommend as a gift for daily communicants, to help with the new translation and the vagaries of the liturgical calendar?
    Magnificat, Word Among US, whtaver?
    The less expensive , the better....

    I've been using Give Us This Day (The Liturgical Press) since August and it has deepened my prayer. The "Blessed among Us" section features holy people, canonized and not, whose lives speak to mine; and the Reflections are powerful.

    I am giving up my Magnificat subscription accordingly.
