I saw this, too, not long ago. (Here's a link to the URL Noel provided.)

The comments are pretty good, too.

    Phew... 1/14
The tabernacle is not in the middle, however it is in a suitable place on the gospel side of the sanctuary, and we don't have space to move it to the middle without doing away with versus populum Masses.
  • A quote from NPM list about this article:

"Wow! I don't think I've read anything quite so cynical (I don't find it satirical) in all my born days...My purpose (and I've only music-ministered since Vatican II) is and always has been to help people to pray and then go forth to proclaim Jesus' message to the world..."
  • Two more responses from the same place....

"This cracks me up! I went to the actual link and emailed the author:

    Thanks for making me laugh!

We have some Cardinals who, for whatever reason, think that they are God!

Fortunately, our Church is big and broad and wonderfully accepting - even of
    them!

And like a good priest friend of mine says "God will get 'em!""

    AND

"OK, so there's more than one Jason in the world. Surprise. Let them demean
and chuckle at others. Then let them hold their heads high in their
smugness. Let's see what it gets them, in the eyes of the faithful and in
    the eyes of God.

This is no different than politics. There will always be haters who hate. We
shouldn't be sucked into their game. It's a vicious cycle that never ends".
  • I seriously would be afraid of people that think like this.
  • And now a third person has posted that the article 14 Steps...

Is totally inappropriate for posting to their list.

I think steps 15 and 16 to a more self-centered church are making/disseminating lists of things other people (that you probably already don't like) do that annoy you, and then demonizing anyone who disagrees.
