Historic 1,000 household parish (barrier island, Charleston, SC) seeks experienced Director of Liturgical Music. Knowledge of Catholic tradition and liturgy required. Organ and choral skills essential. Responsibilities include weekend Masses (4), weekly Novena, weddings (10-15), funerals (10-15), holydays, other seasonal liturgies/devotions, weekly choir rehearsal, psalmist-cantor oversight/training, collaboration with Associate Organist and Traditional Latin Mass community (weekly Low Mass with hymns, occasional High Masses). Singing parish. Traditional repertoire. Skilled choir (12-16) singers. Change-ringing tower. 2-manual, 23-rank A.E. Schlueter pipe organ (2000). Strong musical tradition. Masters degree preferred.
