Introduction to Gregorian Paleography

    Has anyone seen this book:

    "Introduction to Gregorian Paleography" by Rev. Maurice J. Blanc, Gregorian Institute of Toledo (1951).

    Comments? Is it worth a read? I managed to find an inexpensive copy, but I couldn't find anyone referring to it, negative or positive comments.

    I have this too. (Likewise managed to obtain an inexpensive copy - maybe that's an indicator of some sort?) I have not seen any references one way or another to it, but I suspect this is because it truly is an "introduction" and there are always new books coming out all the time that introduce the same material. Critics might describe it as too Solesmes-centric.
