This just in from a choir director/violinist married to an organist:
  • "Hi Noel -- We got home today. Last Sunday didn't make it to ___________, too much rain, so went to Cathedral of St. John the Baptist downtown Charleston. Absolutely wonderful. Scott Turkington's choir is truly the most professional church choir I have ever heard. They did "The Call" R. Vaughan Williams, in motet arrangement. Their phrase endings are to perfection, immaculate balance all the way to pianississimo! Think through the song and you can just imagine it. MDB

I have been telling people headed that way and who live there that they HAVE to hear Scott's work. Noel
