    Does anyone here have access to a Paroissien Romain (Liber Usualis with French introduction and rubrics) from 1908 or later? I am looking for just one paragraph from the preface to the Vatican edition in French.

    I just checked my study, and my copy must be at church, so I’ll have to look for it on Sunday morning.

    D’après « la règle d’or » il n’est jamais permis à la fin de tout neume que suit immédiatement une syllable nouvelle dans un mot déjà commence, de faire une pause ou même un simple retard de la voix, à plus forte raison un arrêt qui couperait le mot d’une façon malencontreuse.
