    Thanks for the vimeo link--I was able to see most of the 2 1/2 hour Mass over the weekend.
    I think the Anglican chant Benedictus was part of the processional music, or maybe part of the Divine Office sung before Mass. The Benedictus during the canon sounded like part of the classical period Mass ordinary used throughout the Mass. Do you suppose that ordinary was chosen in deference to Pope Benedict's liking for that style?

    Edite: Sacred music for the Mass will include Mozart’s Missa Brevis in C-major, (the “Sparrow” Mass), Elgar’s Ecce Sacerdos Magnus, Monteverdi’s Adoramus te, and John Blow’s Salvator Mundi, in addition to the Gregorian chants. (from Rorate)
