At my ritual Sunday evening visit to Half-priced Books in Houston's Rice Village this evening I spotted a nice set of books that may be of interest to someone on our forum, an eight volume set of books of all the Roman pontiffs from St Peter to Pius VI. Here are the details -

The books bear a baronial arms bookplate with the motto Virtute - Comite - Sanguine

Quarter leather, the leather is a dark green with gold stamped title
Good condition - only a very few very minor nicks on several of the books
The binding is solid
No scoring or marginal notes
Eight volumes
Each volume is roughly 6 x 8 inches, and roughly 3/4 inch thick
Price: $250
