Anyone Good at Translating from Italian to Latin

    I was thinking about seeing what a translation of 'Tu Scendi Dalle Stella' would sound like in Latin. Here are the lyrics:
    Any takers? :) (I have a wonderful arrangement, but am now at a FSSP parish, and could only use the Latin...)

    P.S. It may be ridiculous. Maybe the piece works as well as it does because of the lilting nature of the Italian language lyrics. But I wouldn't know that until I see what it COULD be in Latin...

    Tu scendi dalle stelle,
    O Re del Cielo,
    e vieni in una grotta,
    al freddo al gelo.

    O Bambino mio Divino
    Io ti vedo qui a tremar,
    O Dio Beato
    Ahi, quanto ti costò
    l'avermi amato!

    il Creatore,

    I could only translate it to English, I’m afraid. I have seen an existing English translation, if that’s any use, though I suppose not: 'From Starry Skies Descending'.

    Here are a few lines hacked together for fun, but not really correct, and taking liberties with the content:

    De stellis descendisti
    Tu universi Rex
    Et in antrum venisti
    O mundi artifex

    Puer divine tremens,
    in gelo spicio,
    Deus beate,
    quam tibi erat carus
    mihi amare!
