God So Loved the World arrangements

    Greetings all!

    I am looking to do an arrangement of God So Loved the world for each Sunday during Lent. The three I have chosen so far are the arrangements by Chilcott, Stainer, and Stopford.

    What others would you recommend? Looking only for a cappella versions and of medium to medium-difficult level of difficulty.

    Thanks, but we need English for worship. I have looked at the Schutz, just not sure I can pull off a decent translation. I'll see if I can find it in a translated edition.

    I am curious how the dancingly emphatic iterations of "alle" could get translated well into English.

    You might check out a setting by Katherine K. Davis that might fit what you're looking for. English, a cappella, polyphonic textures. I think MorningStar publishes it.
