St. Malachy Catholic Church, located in Brownsburg, IN (of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis), is seeking a professionally trained Director of Music for our parish community.

St. Malachy Catholic Church is a thriving parish with 2,500 families and over 7,000 parishioners. We seek an individual that can enhance our worship ministry and continue developing our talented cantors, accompanists and choirs. Candidates will also provide their musical talents to marriages, funerals, penance services and other liturgical celebrations.

Knowledge of both traditional and contemporary Roman Catholic music is needed. Candidate will be relied upon to assess musical talent and properly train and place our musicians.

Candidates must attain the skills to lead both our adult and youth choirs. They must be able to lead, prepare, plan and execute all music within the parish.

Candidates must possess a high level of musical talent. Preferably this applicant will be a seasoned vocalist, pianist and/or organist; with experience in conducting.
