The Cathedral of Christ the Light (2121 Harrison Street, Oakland) will be auditioning for alto and tenor section leaders this summer for calendar season 2016-2017. $75/call. (NOTE: We are looking for an interim tenor section leader now through the end of season, June 5, 2016. Please email Rudy as soon as possible!) Thursday night rehearsals from 7-9p and Sunday morning call at 9a, 10a Mass and out by 11:15a. There are special Masses you will be asked to sing in addition to Thursdays and Sundays. We are looking for singers with the ability to: 1) sing pure-toned (a.k.a. straight-toned) throughout the entire Mass or concert, 2) sing in tune, and 3) to read well. We are seeking strong voices that blend well to lead the volunteers. There are occasional solo opportunities.
