We are seeking a talented musician who can continue to build on a serious choral music program and after-school instrumental program in a PreK-4 through 8th Classical Catholic School. Each class receives music instruction in theory and voice. Music from Gregorian chant to modern sacred music is taught and preformed. Familiarity with the Ward Method is also a plus. Keyboard and organ skills are also a requirement.

The school music program enjoys a close relationship with the parish music program, with a choir of advanced trebles singing with the adults at the 10:00 a.m. Mass and an additional choir of trebles who sing for the Noon Mass.

Please understand that this position will require much more than is typical in a Catholic grade school. Graduate-level study is preferred, but an ability to work with the very young is also essential. Excellent organizational, conducting, interdisciplinary, communication and collegiality skills are also an important part of this position.

For a talented leader, a pay range of $50K to $60K is being offered.

Please send a résumé and attach a letter in which you highlight your education and any applicable work background. The letter should include your own convictions regarding both the Catholic faith and Catholic education, particularly with regards to music. The school will review your written submission and communicate via e-mail.

Please submit your information by email to wabraham@sttheresacatholicschool.org or mail to:
St. Theresa Catholic School, 705 St. Theresa Blvd, Sugar Land, Texas 77498.
The application deadline is May 15, 2016.
