Edition of In Paradisum in English in neumes?
  • Can anyone point me to an edition of the In Paradisum in English (May choir of angels escort you into Paradise..) written in chant notation? My pastor prefers to sing everything from neumes only.

  • Noel Jones put together this In Paradisum in English for me using the same translation we have in our St. Michael's, and retaining all the expressive notes from the original Gregorian. I put it side by side with the Latin for the priest to choose which language during Mass. Thanks, Noel!

Is there a specific reason for the change from do to re at the end of the first line?
  • It is a misprint.
  • It was a test. CCooze passes. Everyone else fails. Too much time looking for errant Icti, I guess...

I think you posted the same one, again, Noel, instead of the updated version.
(That, or my iPad is confused - which isn't out of the realm of possibilities.)

Yep: can you check the melody on "and at your" ?

Thanks: this could be handy in introducing the piece at my parish.

Sorry to revive an old thread - by any chance, is the GABC code for the English available somewhere?
