Using PDFs of Propers in InDesign
  • I can't just click and drag the second page of a PDF into InDesign when making my worship aid. How do I get the second page of a PDF into InDesign?

    Thanks in advance.

Convert the PDF into a collection of PNG images, one per page. There are websites that can do this for you, or you can use an image editor program such as Photoshop or GIMP.
  • You, sir, are a lifesaver. Thank you very much.

(Turns out that option is included in Adobe Acrobat, and it was staring at me all along ... Argh!)

When you do the initial import a window will come up with a checkbox for preview of pages before importing. Check the box and then you can select the page you want to import.
  • Thank you!

  • OK, so could someone help with a once-over? It's about as good as I can get it without help, so that means now it's time for someone to tear it apart.

EDIT: New upload. Since this is for those in religious life, I kept the psalm [number (number - 1)] references intact.
    Thanked by 1CHGiffen
