Song used during the laying of hands

I have heard this instrumental piece used in many liturgical celebrations; not only during the laying on of hands.
Can someone tell me the title of this piece and it's composer. It is a very beautiful piece!

It's nice indeed, but I myself would prefer the appointed chant for the accompaniment of the laying of the hands.

There is no chant, appointed or otherwise, for the laying on of hands at any ordination, bishop, priest, or deacon.

Given the ultimate fate of Fr. Gabriel in the movie, I think it is a pretty appropriate piece for an ordination.
