    I think many of us who upload things occasionally have hit this problem: the size limit of 2Mb is very small for recordings. I just tried to reduce the size of a music recording and it is still 6Mb. I can't get it down to 2 without severely altering the sound in a very very poor mp3 quality. Any chance of upping that limit? At 5Mb, a 3 minute recording at 224 kB/s would just about fit. 6 Mb would be an easier limit to comply with.

    Thank you for the note. I recently moved the web server installations to a new machine, and in the process the file upload limit reverted to the default of 2MB. I've raised it to 8MB.

    Oh, wow, and all this time I've been forcing my MP3 files under 2Mb. It will be good not to have to compress to 80 or 64 kbps. Thanks Richard. :)

    Another trick is to upload them to your own server and just link to it. Then you won't be limited at all.

    Or Github, which is increasingly comfortable with media files.
