Votive Masses for Ecclesiastical Vocations: translation in English?

    This discussion is not directly about music but if music could be found it would be good to know.
    I am looking for the translation in English of Votive Masses for Ecclesiastical Vocations, which apparently were added to the Missal in 1962. I cannot find them in both Angelus or Baronius Latin/English missals though.
    Also, do you know if there is an electronic document for them? PDF or anything else.

    Five new Mass formularies were added for the profession of religious, men and women,
    for the grant and preservation of ecclesiastical and religious vocations:
    13. Missa in Die Professionis Religiosorum,
    14. Missa in Die Professionis Religiosarum,
    15. Missa ad Vocationes Ecclesiasticas Petendas,
    16. Missa ad Vocationes Ecclesiasticas Servandas,
    17. Missa ad Vocationes Religiosas Petendas et Fovendas.

    They are not in the 1962 St. Andrew's Daily Missal, and I do not have any Missals after that.

    But I have found the Latin Text,

    I wonder how much of the text is reused, from other Propers... so the music and English translation can be found that way.

    The Translation of the Readings and other Scriptual texts can be found in the Douay Rheims Bible. I use this online version, http://biblehub.com/drb/genesis/1.htm

  • I'll take a look in the '65 to see if they're in it and translated, but I can't get to it until tomorrow.

    Send, we beseech Thee, O Lord, laborers into Thy harvest, that the precepts of Thine only-begotten Son may be obeyed and His sacrifice everywhere renewed.

    O Lord, make this gift we offer unto Thee a life-giving sacrifice for Thy people, so that there may be an increasing number of priests around Thy holy altars to offer prayers and sacrifices.

    Filled with the heavenly mysteries, we beseech Thee, almighty God, that Thou mayest increase Thy ministers in number and sanctify them in charity.


    16. Ad vocationes ecclesiasticas servandas

    Stir up, O Lord, in Thy Church the spirit of piety and fortitude needed to make worthy ministers for Thine altars and effective preachers of Thy word.

    Look kindly, we beseech Thee, O Lord, upon the prayers and offerings of Thy people, that the stewards of Thy mysteries may grow in number and persevere always in Thy love.

    Give us, we beseech Thee, O Lord, new life through these mysteries, and grant that those whom Thou hast chosen as ministers of the Redemption may with pure minds be worthy servants of Thy boundless charity.
